Ironically I am going to start with.......Firstly............
More important than anything I achieved this week (and there was a lot) my 3 year old daughter got on her bike (after several months) and managed to cycle herself in just 10-15 mins.. I am a ridiculously proud daddy right now!
Anyway, back to me......
I announced my first ever charity thing. To raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK I will 'mostly' run 50 miles in the month of April. I say mostly because I have never even run a full KM yet.
With that in mind, I went out on Wednesday evening and wanted to see how far I could get. I managed to run my first KM nonstop. I repeated this Thursday morning just to be sure it was real.
On Friday I pushed myself further and ran my first nonstop mile.
On Saturday I (mostly)ran my 5k and took over 3 mins off my PB.
On Sunday I ran my first 2km nonstop..
So lots of stuff to get excited about this week! But my baby rode her bike for the first time!
